Some concerned community members congregated on the steps of the federal building today,  to show their support for President Obama's jobs bill.

The candlelight "Vigil for Jobs" as it was called, was meant to bring awareness to the positive aspects of the bill and lobby Representative Chip Cravaack to support it

"Duluth specifically has a poverty line of 30%, with 30% of the population below that line, so there is an impetus there for Cravaack to act." said concerned community member Tyler Nord, who attended the event.

Organizers of the vigil say that the bill would create over 18,000 jobs in minnesota, with about 2300 of those being here in the 8th district.

Cravaack had previously told Eyewitness News he had still not decided whether to support the bill or not.
