Firefighters battle 2nd Hibbing house fire in a day

Saturday the Iron Range fire departments battled two different house fires, one around 8:00 in the morning and another one at 4:00 in the afternoon.
The second house fire of the day proved to be a challenge for area fire teams. According to the Northland FireWire, the blaze was reported around 4:00 P.M. in the 1500 block of 14th Avenue East. And the house has been extensively damaged.
At this time, no injuries have been reported. Firefighters from Hibbing, Keewatin, Chisholm, Virginia, Cherry, Mountain Iron, and Fayal were on the scene.
The situation is still on going and the fire is under investigation.
