Body of a missing Brookston woman located

Authorities say the body of a missing Brookston woman has been located. Nori Jean Pribble was found just after 2 p.m. on Thursday in a wooded area off of a logging road just south of the 8800 block of McCamus Road, according to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.

The cause of death is unknown, pending results from the medical examiner. Family members have been notified.

Authorities say at this point, Nori’s death does not appear to be the result of foul play.

Nori Pribble had been reported missing to the Fond du Lac Police Department on Sunday, October 13. A family member said the 51 years old had not been heard from since that morning.

Investigators conducted multiple interviews and determined Pribble was last seen in the area of Hwy 31 and McCamus Rd on Saturday October 12th at 8 p.m.

On Wednesday, the FDLPD requested the assistance of the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office and St. Louis County Rescue Squad to conduct aerial drone and ground searches in the vicinity of Brookston. Pribble was not located until Thursday afternoon.

The incident remains under investigation by the Fond du Lac Police Department and St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.
