List: Event and business cancellations due to winter storms
A major storm is approaching the Northland. Businesses and organizations are closing or postponing events ahead of the storm. Forecast details from the Storm Track Weather team.

Thursday, February 23
Section 7A Boys’ Hockey Semifinal games have been canceled on Thursday. The games will be rescheduled for Monday, February 27 at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Details
- Ashland Meals on Wheels is closed. No meals. No Transportation.
- Arrowhead Library System Bookmobile services for Thursday.
- Big Movies at the DECC is being canceled, it will not be rescheduled.
- Duluth Parks and Recreation has canceled morning activities for Thursday.
- Duluth Public Libraries will open at noon on Thursday.
- The Duluth Skywalk System will close early this evening due to the impending winter storm. Please be advised it will close at 7pm tonight and is expected to re-open tomorrow morning.
- Essentia Health clinics in Ashland, Spooner will be closed Thursday, Essentia Health Clinic in Hayward will open at 10 a.m. Additional details can be found here.
- Glensheen’s Sunset Snowshoe has been canceled due to winds and the impending winter storm.

- Rural Care & Share Food Shelf Distribution in Poplar & Iron River is canceled for Thursday.
- WisDOT is postponing its Thursday public involvement meeting for a resurfacing project on WIS 105 in Douglas County from the Minnesota/Wisconsin state line. The meeting will now be held on Thursday, March 2 from 4:30-6:30.
- The Workforce Center/CareerForce will be closed on Thursday.
