The Candlelight Ski event is one that they’ve done before, but now there are even more opportunities for Duluthians to get involved. Bobbie Larson of Ski Hurts explains,”It’s kind of like a Disneyland feel but more natural.” There’s also a social with food, s’mores and, “lots of camaraderie”
“For the logistics- the event is a really magical event for groups to enjoy. We ended up with perfect conditions last year so we decided this year we would do three and we decided to spread them around to locations that don’t already have a candlelight ski.” There will be two at Lester Park, and Upper Spirit Mountain Nordic Center.
Here’s the details for the first:
- Tuesday, Dec 27, 5 – 9 PM
- Lester-Amity Chalet
The event is free for DXC Members and kids. For non-members there’s a $5 donation.
