Green Bay Packer and OL Jenkins agree to a new deal
The Packers will hold on to one of their key offensive guards for several more years. The organization and Elgton Jenkins have agreed to a new four-year contract extension worth up to $74 million–with a base value of $68 million and a $24 million signing bonus.
This will make him the NFL’s second-highest-paid guard. The 26-year-old has started 12 games for green bay this campaign after missing week 1 while still recovering from knee surgery.
Green bay selected Jenkins in the second round of the 2019 NFL draft following a standout career at Mississippi State.
