Looking ahead to the Homegrown Winter Fiasco, which starts this Friday, local bands are gearing up to take the stage at almost 5 different locations.
This year’s event features 15 bands the five different venues in Duluth’s Lincoln Park Craft District.
Interim Co-directors Cory Jezierski and Derrick Murphy-Williams are ready for folks in Duluth to enjoy local musicians in the area.
Derrick says this is a great precursor to the main event. “I’m just looking forward for everyone to get out there pre-proper festival”, he says.
As for making it to all the different acts Corey Jezierski says, “Pace yourself, try to figure out what your must see acts are and how you want to bounce around for the night. Or just go into it blind and stumble around and you might come across a couple of great acts too.”
The Co-directors Homegrown acts almost like a reunion. A lot of people come out to experience live music and performance and you get to run into old friends and have fun together.
