MCCL March for Life, thousands expected to rally against abortion
Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life will hold the 2023 MCCL March for Life at the State Capitol Mall, at 2:00pm on Sunday, Jan. 22. The purpose of the MCCL March for Life is to commemorate the lives lost to abortion, to call for protection and support for unborn children and their mothers.
Also the MCCL will urge elected officials to reject extreme legislation that would enshrine abortion-until-birth in Minnesota. Jan. 22 marks the 50th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision, which first made abortion legal in Minnesota. The MCCL March for Life has been held each year since.
This year’s event comes after the Minnesota House narrowly passed the PRO Act on Thursday; the Senate is expected to vote soon.
