Brandon Weatherz: Several rounds of light snow this week

Our week features a mild start, a few rounds of light snow, and a much colder stretch for the weekend. Our Monday is gray with cloudy skies and areas of morning fog and freezing drizzle. Be mindful of the potential or a glaze of ice and a slippery morning commute. A fast moving weather system to our north will generate scattered snow showers with accumulation of a dusting to an inch. The chance for as much as a full inch hugs the Canadian border.
A second round of snow arrives Tuesday night and lingers along the South Shore Wednesday night. Widespread accumulation will be generally between a trace and 2″. Yet another clipper system rolls through for a third shot of light snow accumulation Thursday night into Friday. This system opens the gates to much colder air for the weekend, leading to highs in the single digits and lows well below zero.
