Despite tying the game 2-2 in the fourth inning, the Duluth Huskies would drop their series opener to the Rochester Honkers 6-2 Wednesday night at Wade Stadium.

Hudson Sapp, who joined the team last Thursday from national champions the University of Mississippi, led Duluth putting up one RBI, one run and two hits.

The Huskies now have five games left in the first half of their season. They’re currently still in the running to clinch their program’s first-ever first half sub-division victory.
