Snow and ice remains on many roads this morning following last night’s round of wintry mix. Slow down and keep plenty of distance between vehicles. A dry stretch of weather settles into the region today and continues through tomorrow. Thursday brings a chance for snow in the evening. Any accumulation would be light with the greater impacts staying south and east of the Northland. That is followed by another quiet stretch that takes us through the weekend.
Temperatures begin mild today in mid-20s to low 30s. Temps hold relatively steady with highs staying in low to mid-30s. Winds are breezy out of the west. Morning cloud cover breaks up nicely in the afternoon. We keep lows mostly in the 20s and highs in the 30s through Thursday. Friday will be a touch cooler with highs in the 20s. Friday night is the coolest in the forecast with lows in single digits above and below zero. We will then trend warmer through the weekend with highs above freezing on Sunday.
