A cyber security breach at Dish Network. The satellite provider says a breach knocked out its websites, call centers, and internal communications last week. Dish says it’s still determining if customers’ personal information was compromised.
Next, Twitter’s crackdown on violent speech. The company’s new policy prohibits violent threats and incitement of violence. Accounts violating the policy will be suspended. Less severe violations will require users to delete content before accessing their account again.
Google just rolled out a new safety feature to it’s Pixel watch, similar to what’s on the Apple Watch.
It will call for help after sensing a hard fall. Once the fall detection kicks in, the watch will first ask if the owner needs help, then call 9-1-1, and share their location if the user doesn’t respond.
