CSS men’s hockey fall in MIAC final to Augsburg

The College of Saint Scholastica (CSS) men’s hockey team fell in the MIAC final on Saturday 4-1 against Augsburg.

The game was decided in the special teams department as the Auggies opened the game with a two goal lead.

Their first goal came under two minutes in on the powerplay.

CSS got a powerplay right after but gave up a shorthanded goal, before Tyler Hinterser made it a 2-1 game.

Augsburg score another powerplay then even strength goal in the second period.

The Saints now end their season with a (17-7-3) overall record.
