UMD men’s hockey wins big in Omaha
The No.7 University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey team was on the road Friday evening taking on the No.16 University of Nebraska-Omaha.
Bulldogs were making their first trip back to Baxter Arena since the 2020 NCHC pod.
Dominic James would get the scoring started for UMD, followed by two late third period goals by Blake Biondi and Carter Loney, as the Bulldogs skated to a 5-1 victory.
They will be back in action Saturday at 7:07 p.m as they look for the weekend sweep against Omaha.
