Minnesota Department of Natural Resources hosts job fair
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources hosted a job fair at Fond Du Lac Tribal and Community college on Monday afternoon. The purpose of the event was to try and recruit people who were interested in becoming a conservation officer. The event was part of the agency’s current CO Prep program application period, which runs through March 31st and is for people without previous law enforcement experience. The event allowed guests to talk with current conservation officers and learn more about the career field.
The DNR says that this application period applies to people who have at least a two-year degree and a love for the outdoors. Later this year, the DNR will open an application period for people with law enforcement experience who are interested in becoming a conservation officer.
