Former Bulldog captain Tanner Laderoute signs ECHL deal with Wheeling Nailers

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey announced Wednesday their captain Tanner Laderoute has inked a professional deal.
It’s with the ECHL’s Wheeling Nailers in West Virginia, the affiliate to the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins.
This past season the forward tallied two goals and five assists in 37 games played. In five seasons at UMD he put up 58 career points.
