UMD football releases its 2023 schedule

Can it really be too earlier to talk about football? Maybe so or maybe not, but for University of Minnesota Duluth it’s not because they have given their fan an earlier present.

The team released their 2023 football schedule and when they will hit the field to play their spring football game. The game is slated to be played on Friday, April 21, at 5:30 p.m. at Malosky Stadium.

UMD is set to play six home games and five road games in the fall. The Bulldogs will open its season against the Northern Michigan University Wildcats at home on Thursday, August 31st, at 6 p.m.

This will be the first time since 1998 that the Bulldogs will match up with the Wildcats, and it will also be the first non-conference regular season game the Bulldogs will play since the 2011 season. The Bulldogs ended the 2022 season with an 8-3 overall record.
