Despite some snow flurries the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) football team took to the field at Malosky Stadium Friday for their annual Spring Game.
The match allowed fans to catch a glimpse of both veterans and incoming Bulldogs.
The contested position of quarterback saw numerous players taking reps.
UMD finished the 2022 season 8-3 just shy of the postseason. During that fall junior Logan Graetz played seven games completing 37 passes for 571 yards and six touchdowns. Redshirt sophomore Kyle Walljasper played in 10 games completing 61 passes for 772 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Sophomore Jacob Eggert is also a candidate for the QB position, as well as freshmen AJ Boarman, Joey Flaherty, and Mason Keyes.
The Bulldogs’ 2023 season opener is at home August 31 against Northern Michigan University. For their full schedule, Click Here.
