Justin Liles: Warmer with some rain

The temperatures look to turn for the better over the next 48 hours. A low dropping down out of Canada has a warm front connected, which will increase our temperatures. Clouds will also increase with this warm up but many areas are set to climb into the 50s and finally be closer to average. By late tomorrow night, rain showers will take over and there is a chance snow is possible across the Arrowhead. It doesn’t look as much will accumulate which is the great news.

Temperatures will be warmer Thursday, as rain is likely around the region with the passing low. More rain is expected heading into the weekend, along with a chance of snow and gusty winds. Temperatures look to become colder temperatures will return Sunday afternoon and turn light rain over to snow. A large low out east over Michigan will spin in place for a few days. Therefore, rain mixed with snow is likely through the middle of next week. The arrowhead as well as the U.P. of Michigan may once again see plowable snow. Stay tuned for updates.
