Around Town – May 3, 2023

It’s the first weekend in May, a great time to get out Around Town.

Sauna Days

Larsmont Cottages are hosting Sauna Days from Friday through Sunday. People can take a sauna in Larsmont’s wood-burning cottage or in a mobile sauna that will be on site. They’ll also have bonfires, craft beer, and educational sessions. If you’re not staying there, you can buy a special day pass.

Clean Yer Creek

It’s the 15th annual Clean Yer Creek Saturday. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., volunteers will be picking up around three Duluth creeks: Keene, Chester, and Miller. There’s an afterparty at Bent Paddle Brewing from 2-4 p.m.

Homegrown Music Festival

It’s your last chance to catch live music during Homegrown Music Festival. The Homegrown Kickball Classic is at noon Saturday followed by music beginning at 6 p.m. and lasting all night. The festival wraps up Sunday afternoon with three final sets at Canal Park Brewing Co.
