Update: Missing Itasca County man has been located

John Ellis of Itasca County was found safe Thursday evening, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department. Authorities want to thank the public for their help in locating Ellis.

Grand Rapids Police were assisted by the Itasca County Sheriff’s Office, Itasca County Search and Rescue, Grand Rapids Fire Department and several other state agencies.
