Boat Club Productions is gearing up for their performance of Always Patsy Cline. The show created by Ted Swindely is more than a tribute to legendary country singer Patsy Cline.
It’s based on a true story about Patsy Cline’s, played by Christina Stroup, friendship with a fan from Houston named Louise Seger, played by Mary Lee, who befriended the star in a Texas honky-tonk in 1961, and continued a correspondence with Cline until her death. Patsy Cline died in a plan crash when she was 30.
The show features many of Patsy’s well-known hits like “Crazy”, “I Fall to Pieces”, “Sweet Dreams”, and “Walking After Midnight.”
The show runs June 2-11 at the Spirit of the North Theatre on Fitger’s 3rd floor. Call the box office at (218) 623-7065 or go online to purchase tickets.
