Rapids Brewing Co. is getting ready to bring back Festival Rialto, a day of Minnesota music and craft beer.
The lineup includes Drew Peterson, Kelley Smith, Good Morning Bedlam, Erik Koskinen, and Wild Horses.
Rapids Brewing opened in 2019, navigated the COVID-19 pandemic, and is living out its mission of being a place for people to get together.
“We really started the place as a space for … people to gather, community to get together, people to socialize and converse, and just be community and enjoy each other’s company,” Bill Martinetto said.
Jed and Ariana LaPlant of Wild Horses helped Rapids Brewing plan the first Festival Rialto and are back for the second round.
“For us, it’s a fun summer kickoff,” Jed said.
The LaPlants are looking forward to a busy summer of playing music after releasing their first record last year.
They also collaborated with Rapids Brewing Co. to brew a beer for the festival.
“It’s a hazy pale ale,” Martinetto said. “It’s got a little bit of honey added pre-fermentation and some orange peel. So it’s going to be super light, refreshing, a little citrusy. It’s going to be a nice summer crusher.”
Festival Rialto starts at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 3, and goes until 11 p.m. at Rapids Brewing. Tickets cost $45 beforehand or $55 on Saturday.
