Just as the butterflies come back to town, the Duluth Monarch Buddies are hosting a festival Saturday to raise awareness for our local pollinators.
They invite all ages to the Coppertop Church from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a day of educational speakers, activities for children, and pollinator plants for sale.
The non profit’s mission is “to create and restore monarch butterfly habitats, educate about monarch ecology and migration, and share ways to increase the population of monarchs.”
Admission is $5 for adults and free for children.
