Level-three offender relocating to rural Barnum
Jarred Dean Lind, 43, is relocating to Blackhoof Township as of June 20.
The Carlton County Sheriff’s Office says a level-three predatory offender is relocating to north-central Blackhoof Township.
Authorities say as of June 20, 2023, 43-year-old Jarred Dean Lind will be living in the rural Barnum area. Lind is not wanted by police, and is still required to comply with all requirements set forth in the Predatory Offender Registration laws. Lind will also be monitored by the Carlton County Sheriff’s Office, and is also under community supervision by Arrowhead Regional Corrections.
The Sheriff’s Office says Lind physically assaulted and held a known adult female against her will, and used an established relationship of trust to attain and exploit isolated access. Force, restraint, and a weapon were used to gain compliance.
For anyone wishing to obtain information on Lind, there will be a Community Notification meeting on June 15 at 6:00pm at the Carlton County Transportation Department.
