Four-day Fourth celebration planned in International Falls

The folks in International Falls are planning a four-day celebration around July Fourth. Mayor Harley Droba says it’s going to be one of the biggest events they’ve had in many years.
It starts on Canadian Independence Day, July 1, in the border town and finishes on American Independence Day, July 4.
“We have a unique opportunity this year with Fourth of July being on a Tuesday, we can have a four-day celebration from Saturday until Tuesday.”
There will be Canadian fireworks on Saturday and more on Tuesday. They’re also planning lots of entertainment, a 5k, a Beer Garden, a parade, and more.
The Strolling Clones, a Rolling Stones cover band, will hold a free concert at the outdoor amphitheater. The Dirty Vandals from the Indianapolis area are also coming to International Falls for the festival. Their lead singer is originally from I. Falls.
