The Twelve Holy Apostles church in Duluth hosted the ‘Taste of Greece’ festival.
The family friendly annual event was held at Marshall School. It honors community members who came from various areas in Greece.
The two day event happened over the weekend and showcased mouth-watering Greek food, as well as delicious homemade breads and pastries. Organizers of the event say the turn out was great.
Father Dustin Lyon, one of the event organizers said that the ‘Taste of Greece’ Festival has been going strong for the last 30 years. “I want to say we probably had over 6,000 people this weekend that is my estimate. Yesterday we had a line all the way through the back door for like three hours so, it was busy. We sold out. it was a good festival for us” Lyon said.
