The Midwest Medical Examiner’s office has identified the body found in the Biwabik home as Brandon Lee Buschman.
The 35-year-old Babbitt Man’s body was found inside a chest freezer in the basement of the house 304 4th Ave North- which had not been occupied since February.
Buschman’s body was discovered in an older style freezer that locks automatically when closed and is not capable of being pushed open or unlocked from the inside when closed. The freezer was not on at the time of the discovery.
The examiner’s officer says there is no evidence of trauma or injury. Toxicology reports will not be available for several weeks.
