Rebecca Thompson is the owner of the recently opened Kitchen Tune-Up in Duluth. Her business helps people to update kitchens and cabinetry, like cabinet refacing, redooring, new cabinets, and cabinet planning.
This Summer as you welcome more guests into your home, Rebecca suggests giving your kitchen an upgrade.
First she recommends using organizational tools to decrease clutter on your counter, cabinets, and drawers. Tools to use include a spice rack or a roll out tray.
You might also want to reconsider seating for guests. So things don’t get cramped, try extending a space by adding an additional end table to a counter or dining table.
After the busy Summer months, you might want to consider tackling a bigger remodeling project. A better layout for the next wave of guests might include, extending a kitchen island for more seating and creating space for appliances. Adding cabinets under the kitchen island can help as well.
