The third annual Duluth Great Race was held Thursday afternoon. Participants braved the rainy weather to bond with their teammates, complete challenges and win prizes for their companies. Teams of 5 were able to hit the streets of Duluth to find landmarks, visit local businesses and go through obstacles, all for a chance to win the Aerial Lift Bridge trophy. A new element was added this year allowing the winning team their own story in the Duluthian.
“Honestly, the community support we’ve gotten from this event, even if the weather was bad, it would be incredible,” said FUSE Duluth Program Director Aubrey Hagen. “Anyway, we’re presented by Cirrus aircraft. They’ve been a great partner. So many businesses have sponsored missions and sponsored booths, donated items to our swag bags for prizes. So, Duluth really came out for this one and we’re really excited to show it off today.”
And the winning team was Duluth Workforce Development – “The Incredibles”.
