2540 Coffee House just opened in Superior, and they’ll fill your cup for a cause.
It opened July 1, and Christyna Foster said it was a very busy first weekend, especially because they are on the Fourth of July parade route.
“The significance of 2540 is Matthew 25, verse 40, from the Bible, which is Jesus basically speaking and saying, ‘Whatever you do for the least of my brothers, you also do for me,” Foster said.
2540 Coffee House is at 1423 Belknap Street and was built to support Ruth House and other ministries.
“The profit from the coffee house is meant to help build the ministry, help expand our services, what we offer for other people in the community that need our help,” Foster said.
It’s open 6:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
“I hope that we are an example for other ministries that with volunteerism, you can do a lot,” Foster said.
