On Monday, players looking to become better scorers and all-around offensive players headed to the UMD basketball scoring camp for both boys and girls from 3rd-12th grade to help with detailed footwork, dribble moves and scoring scoring finishes.

Allowing even some players who attended these camps as youth, to now be the teachers they used to look up to.

“Scoring Camp is a camp that I went to when I was younger, when I was these guys age. So it’s really come full circle and it’s cool to now be the leader, be the person that I looked up to when I was a kid in the same position. So now it’s pretty awesome,” said Duluth native and UMD men’s basketball player Noah Paulson.

Just another way local talent is helping the Northland become one of the biggest areas for top end basketball.
