Downtown Duluth kicks off the 1st day of Sidewalk Days

Wednesday, July 12 marked the first day of Downtown Duluth’s Sidewalk Days, with hundreds coming out to reconnect with local businesses in the area.
President of the Downtown Duluth Council, Kristi Stokes says this summer staple is a huge for local business located downtown. She says, “We’ve been doing this for more than 30 years in our community, and so it is something that people come to love and [they] expect a celebration in our downtown.”
Here’s some things to check out on Superior Street while you are down there.
Inflatable Kid’s Obstacle course – Near Lake Ave. on West Superior Street
A large inflatable with slides will provide tons of fun for the little ones in front of Minnesota Power, 30 W Superior Street every day from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

Kolar Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac Classic Car Show (Wednesday only) from 5-8pm Join fellow classic car enthusiasts Wednesday for the Kolar Chevrolet Buick GMC Classic Car Show.
Eight blocks with hundreds of classic automobiles lining Superior Street from 3rd Avenue East to 5th Avenue West and a live band on almost every block. Bands scheduled to appear are the Jane Gang, Darling Danger, PB + J, Centerville All Stars, Lake City Smokin’ Section, Virgil Caine Band, and the DSGW The Revisionz!
The Aces on First Street Dance (Friday July 14th) is happening on Friday, July 14th starting at 6:30pm. It features live music from Darling Danger and Sound of Fujun.
Movies in the Park (Friday July 14th) presented by Arrowhead Orthodontics is showing “Top Gun: Maverick” in Leif Erikson Park at 9pm.
Plus Pre-Party with the Duluth Airshow (Friday July 14th) at 7:30pm.
Bring a blanket/chair and enjoy a beautiful evening sitting beneath the stars on the shores of Lake Superior.
Dubh Linn Brew Pub (Saturday July 15th) will be hosting the Superior Street Dance on Saturday, July 15th starting at 8pm.
Blues legend Lamont Cranston headlines this years Downtown Duluth Street Dance, with Virgil Caine opening and closing the festivities! BBQ and Taco food trucks, outdoor beer tents, live music inside & outside of Dubh Linn Pub, and one of the biggest parties of the summer!
