Building an Animal Rescue in Carlton County

Carlton County has been without an animal rescue since 2018, but a group of passionate people are working to change that. Cory Martinson is one these folks.

He explains the Carlton County Animal Rescue started with a social media campaign in 2021, but it eventually grew to into a dedicated group that now makes up the rescue’s board.

They received a 501c3 status earlier this year, and the next step is fundraising.

While they haven’t gotten a building just yet, they do have a network for fostering animals.

Donations help the rescue continue on their mission. And expect to to see the Carlton County Animal Rescue at events in the future, and they plan to reboot the Cloquet Dog-Gone Fun Run.
