Sabrina Ullman: Light rain possible this afternoon

After a break from wet weather, rain chances return today. The Arrowhead will see a few sprinkles as early as noon. Spotty showers will become more widespread after 2 pm, with a chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms until around 11 pm.
Afternoon highs will be in the upper seventies to low eighties today. Saturday and Sunday will be similar temperature-wise.
Saturday will begin dry and have rain chances increase in the afternoon to evening. This round will have more accumulation, but still have less than an inch of expected rainfall. Friday and Saturday combined will have less than half an inch for most of the Northland.
Next week will begin with temperatures increasing a little each day, peaking in the upper eighties to mid-nineties on Wednesday. Most of the country will see well-above normal temperatures mid-week as an upper-level high dominated the central U.S.
