Justin Liles: Air Quality ends, but heat and humidity returns!

High pressure stretched from Saskatchewan into the Upper Midwest this afternoon with dry conditions across the Northland. Dry conditions will prevail into Tuesday before rain chances return for the latter half of the week. A weak cold front will slide through late Tuesday into Wednesday and there will be chances for showers and thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday with most dry conditions for most Thursday and Friday.

There is a risk for a few severe storms both Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will be warmer Tuesday through Thursday then will cool Friday. Temperatures will slowly warm into midweek. Hot, humid, and hazy weather looks to return by Wednesday, before returning to more seasonal values for late week and into the weekend. The end of the week and first half of the weekend looks great with a chance of showers returning Sunday night.
