Virginia man sentenced for Aiding and Abetting Third-Degree Murder
David Keith Joseph Chatman of Virginia was sentenced today after pleading guilty in October 2022 to Aiding and Abetting Third-Degree Murder in connection with the October 19, 2021, overdose death of Brooke Ann Miller.
The St. Louis County Courthouse says Chatman contacted his co-defendant, Torisa Sulvoris Wallace, and coordinated the drug sale between Wallace and Miller that ultimately led to Miller’s death.
The Honorable Robert C. Friday sentenced Chatman to 43 months in prison, a downward durational departure.
In September 2022, the Honorable Michelle M. Anderson sentenced Chatman’s co-defendant, Wallace, to 134 months in prison after Wallace pleaded guilty to Third-Degree Murder in connection with Miller’s overdose death.
