Marshall man headed to North Shore to camp now missing
Authorities are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Marshall, MN man.
The Minnesota BCA says 36-year-old Justin Michael Sperl was planning a trip to the North Shore on Friday, August 4. He was going solo camping and possibly took his kayak with him. Friends of Justin received messages from him that same Friday, indicating he was near the Silver Creek Tunnel north of Two Harbors. Justin has not shown up for work, and family has not heard from him.
Justin’s kayak is light blue with a green bottom. He’s known to drive a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor with license plate BMK969. Justin is 6’07”, weighs 210 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes. It’s unknown what he was last wearing.
