GMN Music Guest: Adam Moe

Adam Moe stopped by GMN to share his music and discuss songwriting. Adam is a fiddler and singer/songwriter based in Duluth, MN. In 2012, he started the folky-tonk duo Pushing Chain with a former musical partner. For the next eight years, Pushing Chain toured the US and Canada, playing venues big and small and gaining fans the old-fashioned way — face to face, one at a time. Adam has been featured on radio and television, and played some of the biggest festivals in the country, including the 2019 Woody Guthrie Festival and the 2019 Kerrville Folk Festival.

With the onset of the 2020 pandemic, Adam set out on a solo career. The result is an ever-changing array of classic country and folk music combined with his original songs, which have been described as both witty and poignant.
