Lakehead Harvest Show is a step back to a slower time

The Lakehead Harvest Show is back this weekend in Esko, and the festival is like taking a step back to a slower time.

“You’re going to see stuff you’re not going to see anyone else,” Lakehead Harvest Show President Ryan Hansen said.

There are steam and gas engines and plowing, blacksmithing, shingle making, and vintage crafts.

“It’s a lot of antique stuff, but it’s neat to see how it works and how they did stuff,” Hansen said. “You can directly relate steam power to the Industrial Revolution to the automobile to today.”

It’s a suggested donation of $10.
