The Superior Rotary Club is asking for your help raising $40,000 to help the people of Ukraine who are still suffering.
International rotary club member, Joe Radtke says 100% of the funds will go straight to Ukraine.
The money will be used to buy medical aid, water filtration tablets, food, heat, electricity, and other supplies. Radtke says the Superior club has committed $2,500 already from their club.
During a public meeting, Ukrainian rotary members spoke of how the Twin Ports has already helped raise some money to help relief efforts.
The Superior Rotary Club members are reaching out to other organizations for help, “wherever we can get the money,” said Radtke.
They are also accepting donations online, Georgette Wondolkowski says “a lot of people may be nervous or don’t know how to donate. This is a great place to start.”
If you would like to donate, or know of a local organization that would like to help efforts, visit the Superior Rotary website.
