Fatal hit-and-run in Itasca County; State Patrol looking for answers

The Minnesota State Patrol is seeking information or witnesses to a hit-and-run crash in Itasca County that killed a pedestrian early Sunday morning.

Authorities say it took place between 3 and 5 AM on Highway 6 near the Deer River Township in Itasca County.

Around this time there was dense fog which may have contributed to the crash.
