Quieter weather arrives for our Tuesday. The weekend’s low pressure system is still stirring up some clouds in east central Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin with a stray shower possible. Sunnier skies envelop northern Minnesota. Highs for inland communities return to upper 60 to low 70s today. An east wind around 15 mph will hold shoreline communities in low to mid-60s. Tonight will feature lows in mid-40s to mid-50s.
Areas of fog and low level cloud cover may set up and linger through the Wednesday morning commute. Wednesday will then continue to be overcast with drizzle and mist possible from the Twin Ports and along the North Shore. A low chance for a passing shower extends to much of the rest of the Northland. Highs will be in mid-60s inland and low 60s near Lake Superior as an east wind persists yet again.
Thursday starts a warming trend with mid to upper 60s under mostly cloudy skies. Friday will have mid-60s in north central Minnesota where shower and thunderstorm chances return and mid-70s for east central Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin where we stay dry. Saturday and Sunday both feature widespread 70s and a low chance for showers and thunderstorms.
