Duluth East’s Steve Pitoscia named Minnesota Wilderness assistant coach

Duluth native Steve Pitoscia will be leading a new bench this winter. On Tuesday the Duluth East boys hockey coach was named the new assistant coach for the North American Hockey League’s (NAHL) Minnesota Wilderness based in Cloquet.
Pitoscia will remain the Greyhounds’ bench boss pulling double duty. The Wilderness will hire an additional assistant when the high school season begins.
First year Wilderness head coach Colten St. Clair and Pitoscia worked together as an assistant and scout to the United States Hockey League’s (USHL) Omaha Lancers in the 2019-2020 season.
Last season Pitoscia was also a NAHL scout for the Lone Star Brahmas.
The Wilderness return home this weekend hosting Springfield in a two game series beginning Friday night at the St. Luke’s Sports and Events Center in Proctor.
