A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for a portion of north-central Minnesota. Areas around International Falls, Big Falls, Ely, Orr, Bigfork, Grand Rapids, Longville, and Walker should expect visibility less than 1/4 mile through 10am this morning. Use low-beam headlights, reduce your speed, and give yourself additional travel time. There is a flood watch for the north shore head of the lake Carlton and Pine Counties as well as Douglas County in Wisconsin.
Up to 2” of rain may have fallen over already water-logged soils within and north of the Twin Ports into shoreline areas of Lake County and may lead to flooding. The rain should be mostly wrapped up early this morning. Temperatures will warm up through the weekend as well. Daytime highs may reach the upper 70s to low 80s by Monday once the winds shift to the southwest. Conditions will dry out by next week.
