Lake Avenue I-35 ramp closures October 2nd and 3rd

According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, the I-35 southbound ramp at Lake Avenue and 5th Avenue West, also known as exit 256B, will be closed on Monday, Oct. 2 and Tuesday, Oct. 3 during the day for drainage structure repair work.

Traffic will be unable to access the frontage road past the Lake Avenue exit and will be directed on to Lake Avenue to Superior Street. On Tuesday, Oct. 2, the onramp from Lake Avenue to I-35 northbound will be closed for one day. Traffic will be detoured on Railroad Street to the 5th Avenue West onramp.
