WDIO is sending our Shalon Monroe off with a look back at some of her fun moments here.

The girl from North Carolina with a big heart and big smile had never tried a peanut butter and jelly sandwich before.

Now she has, thanks to us. And she tried ice fishing. Even snowboarding.

Plus, she carried the camera around to many prep sports games.

Shalon is getting ready to start a role with the Duluth School District. Her compassion and care will make a difference in the lives of students.

We wish her the best, and look forward to seeing her around.
