Cirrus Aircraft launches Galaxy of Giving fundraiser
Cirrus Aircraft and STARBASE Minnesota-Duluth are hosting the first annual “Galaxy of Giving: Launching Bright Futures” fundraiser October 5th from 6-8 p.m at the Cirrus Innovation Center (4600 Stebner Road, Duluth, MN).
The new Cirrus Innovation Center will bring you back to your childhood as you find yourself immersed in a universe of stars and STEM. This is a chance to see how STARBASE uses technology and new experiences to show the next generation the wonders of STEM.
Robert ‘Hoot’ Gibson, a retired astronaut and Navy pilot will be telling his story and how he came to love exploration and engineering.
The evening will also include dinner, a live auction, and many hands-on STEM activities.
To buy tickets, head to the STARBASE website. Tickets are $100 each and proceeds will support technology advancement, staff education and training, growth of the STARBASE 2.0 middle school project, and the ongoing operational needs of the program.
