Record performance earns UMD volleyball’s Lanoue NSIC honors

On the courts University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) volleyball’s Sydney Lanoue had a record setting weekend, earning her NOrthern Sun Intercollegiate conference (NSIC) defensive player of the week.

In their 3-0 win over Minnesota State University Moorhead Friday, the senior recorded a UMD record 35 digs.

It was enough to tie a division two season high. She averaged a conference best 7 digs per set over the weekend.
