Duluth Superior Film Festival returns
The Duluth Superior Film Festival returned to the Northland on Thursday with a showing of “Cue the Strings”, a documentary on the band, Low. Director Philip Harder says the documentary was almost thirty years in the making, starting out as a music video project being shot in Minnesota.
The film festival will run through Sunday, October 8th and will feature short films, music videos, documentaries, feature films and more. The showing will be at several historic Duluth Locations including the NorShor Theater, the Depot Theater, Fitger’s Spirit of the North Theater and others. According to event officials, the mission of the Duluth Superior Film Festival is to foster a greater appreciation of cinema, bridge cultures, create and expand community, and provide cultural exchange, networking opportunities, and educational outreach through regular interactions with great films, filmmakers, musicians and artists.
